- Improved the pickup process for Amazon Flex drivers with guardrail mechanisms to help guide users and reduce fraud committed by bad actors.
- Split application into separate framework components, allowing for better modularity, reuse, and integrations from other teams.
- Refactored the Flex App’s logging system. Introduced APIs for both Swift and Objective-C which help better organize logs, reduces user log file size, and shortens the resolution time of customer issues.
- Contributed and helped launch Amazon Key, a service which allows Amazon packages to be securely delivered in-home.
- Initiated and integrated the architecture design for Amazon Key support.
- Helped make initial design decisions and contributed to the Bluetooth networking stack for the Flex App’s interaction with Amazon Cloud Cam.
- Participated in a record number of ride-alongs with Amazon Logistics drivers in various locations across the country. Collected hands-on user experiences and identified issues across mobile, backend, design, and program management teams.
- Mentored and guided multiple interns, all who went on to continue their professional careers with Amazon.
- Extensively re-wrote documentation and simplified the process for ramp-up, cutting new developer ramp-up time in half.
