Hi, my name is Ruiz. I like to write code and create things. Please, have a look around.
I am currently an engineering student at Texas A&M University. Outside of academics, I’m just a simple guy that likes to geek out and keep up with advancements in science and technology. You can view my resume and learn more about me here.
I love to write code! I can code in multiple languages (Java, C++, etc) and write software for many of today’s different platforms (desktop, web, mobile). I’m always looking for ways to improve my programming knowledge, skill, and style. You can check out my projects in my portfolio.
I always strive to be creative with my work. I can work with different kinds of editing software and create many forms of visual media, especially raster graphics. In return, these skills work hand-in-hand to help improve the appearance and user-experience of the software that I write.

With the semester over, I took a two week break. Just lounged around, played video games, and doing overall nothing. I went on ahead and uploaded a small amount of my projects for the semester. I cherry-picked the ones that looked the best and were […]
I’ve had one of the most productive winter breaks in quite some time, but the Spring 2013 semester starts today. 13 credit hours and a part-time job should be enough to keep me busy. Last week, I took the time to rethink about the purpose of my website. I want it to focus more on my projects and works, so I rearranged it all to better suit that need. The blog isn’t going to be […]
